Building Construction
We have extensive experience in the repair, refurbishment, alteration and extension of buildings including providing specialist advice in relation to listed buildings and those within a conservation area. We can provide:

- Preparation of detailed specifications
- Compliance with construction and Health & Safety legislation

Building Surveys
The construction of a building may be surveyed for many purposes. These may include:
- Structural surveys or Schedules of Condition
- Pro-active advice on planned maintenance
- Party wall matters particularly when adjacent properties are undergoing construction or alteration.
- Experts reports on building defects
and can be specifically limited to particular aspects of the property e.g. roof or external works.
Compliance with Legislation

Dilapidations
Liability for dilapidations can be extremely onerous and it is an area of complex legislation. We are able to advise landlords and tenants on dilapidation liability and the appropriate time to take action as well as preparing schedules and undertaking negotiations on their behalf. Advice can also be given to tenants on planning for dilapidations and negotiating settlements where schedules have already been served .
